#Ac3d reorder verticies how to
If anyone reading this can shed some light on how to realize this, please leave me your email-address in the comment section or contact me via PM at the Org (user: “app0815” – with a zero in the middle). That would be pretty cool but I have no experience in programming or in writing scripts. I heard some MS FS products used to have a trigger-frequency and by tapping the transmit-button a certain amount of times the trigger would be activated. Maybe the hangar doors will open at dawn and close at dusk, maybe they will be proximity-triggered – I don’t know yet. I’m thinking about possible solutions of a trigger mechanism. I intend to have the hangar doors animated – preferably by a user-trigger. As personal computers become faster and faster developing high detail sceneries from the get-go is to me the logical conclusion. If it does, I might offer lower quality versions – no promises though! Anyhow, I believe it’s smarter to build the models in high detail first and then crunch them down from there if necessary – instead the other way around. Probably one has to wait until the entire airport is done to see if it has a severe impact.

I made a couple shots after today’s work for you to enjoy:Īlso tested the current status in X-Plane 10 and noticed no impact on framerate yet (without optimization). Also started working on the hangar doors and closed some gaps in the interior. Well this is my explanation, I hope no been too much bored.Today I fixed some issues with some overlapping surfaces which created some unsightly jitterbugging (those dancing textures got the fever!).
#Ac3d reorder verticies free
Some years, ago, yes some tools are better than other, at today tools very cheaper make thing more greater than a expensive software, in example Blender, free and very very powerfull. uhmm I don´t remenber well, but I think are comples.įor cinema 4d, I do a turn around in Internet and I found a company is devolping a similicar CAT for Cinema 4d.ĭaz have a animation tool, I don´t try, but I think is very easy, and in a couple of clicks you have you model animated Another goal, is when you export to 3d mesh, it have a Polygon reducer, faster and very funcitional, reduce a long amount a mesh, and you can use for real time, don´t have to use another tool or plugin.įor animation, 3D Max, have a grats tools, how is Characte Studio and in the last verion, have Cat(Charcater animation toolkit), this last, is very intuitive, and make walks-cycles, in a "couple" of mouse clicks.Īnother very proffesional tool for animate is Messiah, and another from AUtodesk called. Therefore, AC3D hasnt traditionally been a utility for creating morph targets. But Poser morph targets have a scrict requirement that the vertices stay in the same order. I found some days ago, a Sculpt Modeler, called Coat 3D, this is very compatible, whit lightwave, but is for me, better than Zbrush and MudBox, is very easy, and for texturing works, more better and quickly than Phothop or BodyPaint from Maxon, and have utilities very impresive how works whit primitives and cut how do you want, make a complex model whit primitives is too much easy. The vertices are still there in the same locations, and the triangle still renders correctly to the screen, but the ordering is just different. The trouble of both software, they are very expensive. Well if you don´t want complicate the live ehit zBrush, have MudBox, from Autodesk very easy, and makes the same. Have another how Hexagon, equal, I think make something is a little more slow, because have more tools, for paint and sculpt(silo can be do this, too).įor Sculpt, and paint too much people speak about Zbrush, is a tool what I use a little, and is very powerfull, but you need too much time for learnig, the interface is a little complex in a first look, but after is easy. In example, I now use Silo, from Nevercenter Software, the most quick and powerfull modeler I use in all my time own 3d Graphics designer, it´s only 120$.

Well I think use professional tools, is well, but "not professional" (is in quotes, not for not be professional, for his price). Well, for 3D models I use for 16 years ago, 3D Max, Cinema 4D and now I stay learnig LigthWave(is vey intuitive and very faster make something).
